Program and Grant Fund Management

Organisation Reviews

WalterTurnbull undertakes organisational reviews to assist funding bodies to manage the risks they face in providing funding to third party entities for the purpose of achieving specified outcomes for supported clients. Organisational reviews are conducted through the assessment of the adequacy of a funded entity’s business and operating environments. Specifically, reviews focus on corporate governance, risk management, operating policies and procedures, business planning and financial management.

Grant Management

WalterTurnbull has assisted many Government Departments to manage their grant processes within a risk based environment. This has included assistance with the grant management process incorporating the development of grant/funding agreements. It has also included the development of procedures for funded entities for information provision for acquitted purposes by the funded body. WalterTurnbull has provided assistance on grant management to Government Departments within the Commonwealth, State and Territory sectors.

Financial Viability - assessment against funding obligations and/or applicant/tenderer capacity evaluation

WalterTurnbull undertakes financial viability assessments against funding obligations. These are conducted to provide Government funding bodies with assurance that third party funding recipients are financially viable to achieve program objectives. Such financial viability assessments involve an assessment of a funded entity's financial performance, delivery against funding agreement obligations and also whether financial viability can be sustained over the medium to long term.
